Hunter Sykes, Principal Consultant, Coldstream Sustainability Group

MA in International Environmental Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Policy; BA in History and Geography from the University of Colorado; CONCUR level 1 certification.

A founding partner of CSG, Hunter is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience working with private industry and non-profit organizations on a variety of environmental issues including sustainable development and tourism in Central America, ski area development issues in North America, environmental assessments in Micronesia, energy conservation analysis and design, and electric car marketing endeavors. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, he developed a deep appreciation of and concern for the environment through his years of work in the outdoor recreation industry and continually works towards improving the wellbeing of our environment through policy consulting, project planning and filmmaking. Hunter is a founding partner of Coldstream Creative, a film production company that produces environmentally and socially themed documentary film projects. C2’s first film, Resorting to Madness: Taking Back Our Mountain Communities, benefited from his 20+ years of working in the ski industry.
